why all the hate for Rogan?

Some people think he does tend to favor certain fighters, but you have to be a fan of the sport to comment on it with any passion or knowledge.

All commentators favour certain fighters. The people who decry Rogan for that have probably seen nothing other than the UFC.

I personally find some of his sayings can get annoying, but I have to admit he isn't terrible or anything. Now Bob Cole and Harry Neale, who commentated Leaf games (NHL, for those of you who don't follow hockey), they're terrible.

Yea i like rogan he does a good job for the most part. Plus i have heard him commentating in soo many UFC events it wouldnt be the same without him.

I couldn't imagine a better commentator than Joe Rogan. Question though,,has anyone ever been submitted by an oma plata in the UFC?

Because (takes deep breath)

His voice sounds like a buzz saw running over a chalk board, his constant championing of illegal drugs is bad for the image of the sport, I don't give a damn what Eddie Bravo calls that move at 10th Planet, Jim Brown was much funnier, Rogan only got his job because he was the host of Fear Factor and Dana wanted some extra publicitiy, and the number one reason:

1.The UFC cannot hire Bas Rutten to be the color commentator while Rogan already holds that position.
