I think the fact that Timmay was quite close to finishing Nog at several points (something Fedor never did) suggests that it wouldn't necessarily be a cake walk.

Timmay is boring and annoying but very underrated. However, Fedor's judo throws from a clinch present the same issues that Randy's GR tieups did. Shooting on him is virtually impossible though, as seen with Monson.

I don't Like Sylvia - Lurch looking pants shitting goon. but he's proven to have the tools to be a problem for anyone.

Remember even though he had a bad sciatic problem Randy still couldn't finish.

Sylvia has always shown flashes of greatness (blech did I say that!)

against Arlovski, Monson and Nog.

Nah he stuffed Monson's takedowns and out grappled him on the ground, took Arlovski's best shot and got up and knocked him out and played patty cakes with Nog's face. hat's not just roids but actual skill.

My biggest critique of big Tim is that he's always needed someone to push him to show some real skill.

I do agree with Upa's assessment that Fedors upper body Judo throws will be more effective on Tim - Assuming he can get in the big gargoyles reach.

I agree Tim has skills, but the agressiveness that made his old fights exciting is gone. Without the roids he just bores his way into decision victories.

I mean think about it. The only real competition for Randy is/was Fedor. If Sylvia, who was destroyed by Randy, beats Fedor, what does that do for Randy?

He would be considered the most indestructible HW fighter just by default! I hope Fedor kills Sylvia just to avoid this (and I hate Sylvia).

Ahahahaha! I'll bet Randy's shitting his pants right now.

Think about it...Randy comes out of retirement, destroys Tim, and gets the title. After one title defense, Randy throws a temper tantrum, and abruptly resigns and embarks on a law-suited filled quest to fight Fedor. Tim on the other hand, wins one lackluster fight, and loses his next fight only to leave the UFC on good terms and is handed a Fedor fight in a big new promotion.
