When I was younger, maybe around 6, I started using the nunchucks(just those crappy plastic and foam covered ones)and bo. I've studied knife and stick fighting too, and I have tons of books on the tonfa and kenjutsu and other weapon systems. I know at least the very bascis for most martial arts weapons.

Did a little nunchaku/bo when I took TKD (like they're really Korean weapons). I remember a little Escrima too, once you get me started, I'm fast as hell with the redonda.

Escrima, and bo staff so far. I fucked around with Kendo.

I practice Japanese traditional weapons as they are part of my style's curriculum - Korindo Aikido.
These include:
Jo - stick about 126 cm long
Ken - Japanese sword, practice is mostly with Boken, but includes Iai as well mostly with an iaito (aluminum sword) and may include cutting practice with real Katana in the future.
Wakizashi \ Kodatchi - Japanese short sword
Bo - Staff, about 180 cm long
The curriculum also includes other weapons, at which I have not trained in an orderly manner so far. Such as:
Tanto - one side edged knife
Nito - fighting with two swords
Naginata - Halebard
Hami-Bo - stick about 90 cm long.
Ksarigama - a chain weapon
Yari
And probably a few more weapons I didn't remember right now.
When we study a weapon, we normally learn it using a 3 components system:
Kihon / Tai-Sabaki - basic exercises, strikes/cuts, blocks, deflections and combination of weapon and body movement.
Kata - Traditional Ju-Jutsu Kata from TJJ systems our founder and his senior students ave learnt, such as Takanauchi-ryu, Katori-shinto-ryu etc. We also do pre-arranged paired exercises as part of this chapter (most of the TJJ kata include two persons, often each carries a different weapon).
Randori – light free sparring, the intensity may increase with trainees level. Mixed weapons Randori is also practiced as well as multiple opponents (The last is most difficult and I can’t claim to survive it at medium intensity yet).
