Errant if you mean by trolling I'm calling somebody out telling them they're being misleading then fine. I'll be a little more blunt and a little clearer then fine:
What makes your certificate correct. I'm a little dismayed. I have to go back to my folder where I keep my certificates but that's how my certificate looks and I am certified. And legit Kukkiwon certificates look NOTHING like this. I don't have a scanner hooked up to scan one of mine, but Askari is showing one of of the examples of the kind that some people try to pass off as a Kukkiwon certificate and proof of rank. -

I know because I have the envelope, from the Kukkiwon, from Korea, that arrived at my dojang. Inside this envelope were the certificates. The envelope and the plastic dan rank cards, as well as the certificates enclosed matched those shown to me by a grandmaster who had warned me about the high rate of fake certificates. They also match all the ones brought to me by the recent Korean black belt interns that we use from Yong-In University.

You can buy those by the package from Sang Moo Sa martial arts supply. $0.75 each. Lots of people give certificates like the one shown as "black belt" certificates. That doesn't mean that the Kukkiwon was involved in their testing or becoming a black belt or anything else. You can certainly be a black belt of all levels without being certified in that rank by the WTF. It is very political in many ways. My schools, being unwilling to have students believe that there is any implied Dan certification (until that person meets the criteria and we apply for the certification), do not use cheesy **** like the certificate shown. We have large, professionally printed certificates stating your rank. Kids who pass a black belt test can't receive Dan rank from the Kukkiwon anyway - they are IL Poom, or EE Poom etc. until they reach the age at which they can apply for Dan rank. -
