When was the last time a new sport or promotion was built on an Asian as its top draw (racism is still real), and why would they build up someone who is already thirty-five years old, instead of something they can milk a decade out of? If a MMA promotion was to get into the worked fight biz, it would likely pick someone with more brand potential and longevity.
