What would Bill Wallace have to complain about then?

My guess: interminable Linkin Park entrance themes.

Cung's still an MMA fighter. But it is nice to see Sanshou/Viet Vo Dao do well in the cage
If one doubts Cung's emphasis on traditional martial arts you can watch Showtime's interview/segment on him with Goldberg, where he relaxes with some traditional Vietnamese/Chinese medicine

I think people are talking more about the whole, you know, Sanshou thing, than his Vietnamese KF when it comes to him representing CMA.

I was disappointed Frank didn't try very hard for the takedown. Seemed like he spent most of his time on the outside, where Cung Le could take full advantage of his kicks...and on top of that he tried to trade kicks with him. When Frank finally got inside and started swinging, he definitely hurt him, and he could've easily gotten a takedown there if he wanted it.

I was getting a little tired of all the playfulness and showmanship in the earlier rounds too. Something about Frank just screams "douchebag."

The street argument is retarded. BJJ is so much overkill for the street that its ridiculous. Unless you're the idiot that picks a fight with the high school wrestling team, barring knife or gun play, the opponent shouldn't make it past double leg + ground and pound - Osiris

Woah dude. Why'd you even bring that up? The vid with the Vietnamese chicks was way better.

My thoughts exactly- this might be a career ending injury as well.

QTF. That would be really interesting. Too bad they're in different weight classes and promotions so it won't.

I think Machida's too fast for a lot of Cung's standup to work, although those quick roundhouses to the body might get through. Cung needs people to start backing up to really use his crazy axe/spinning/high double roundhouse kicks. Machida's definitely got the advantage in BJJ, so he might pull guard. But Cung's wrestling is way better and will likely negate Machida's Sumo/Karate trips.

    Really interesting style matchup.

EDIT: Machida via whatever sub he wants though.
