If he beats lawler and Ninja, he should really cut weight and whip whoever their welterweight champ is.

The way I see it is that Frank made three big mistakes.
    1. The most obvious is that he didn't grapple. Everyone knows he should have tried to take Cung down, or try and catch his kicks. This is obvious and everyone knows it.
    2. In the third when he rocked and dazed Cung, he should have been all over him. Instead, Frank stalked him and threw a few combinations. He should have been going all out without letting up for a second. This could have possibly won him the fight or at least the third round.
    3. His worst mistake, in my mind, is that he showboated for the first two and a half rounds. Watching the third I watched Frank get a very serious look on his face and then unload a monster-ass shot that rocked Cung. Frank needed to be doing that from the beginning, not showboating. He could have won the stand-up battle had he done this.
While I think that Frank could have won this fight had he not made these mistakes or if his arm wasn't broken, this is not an excuse for his loss. Its the fight game and if you make a mistake or your arm breaks, you lose, its as simple as the other man was better that night.

If you are going to fight someone fight in a way where your strength (whatever it is) gives you the best advantage over the opponents weakness (whatever that is). Instead, Frank relied on his hard fucking head to save him.

I think the part of the fight that highlighted this the most was when Cung sweeped shamrock but walked away to let him back up for further beatings. It was both awesome and smart as by not going to the ground he kept the fight within his best range as much as possible. Good fight.

That was also the move that wiped the smirk off Frank's face.

I don't think grapple was the answer. Cung is a phenominal clinch guy. Sweeping frank like that is his bread and butter, he's one of the best in the world.

To all the haters....suck it up. Cung owned that fight.

p.s. kicking with the shin was what we were taught in san shou...just like mt. not a victory for tma though...I'm pretty sure he trained for san shou specifically. I know I did...we didn't do tma...just the kickboxing with throws.

Could someone post GIFs of that backfist combo, and also of the sweep and ownage kick without the stupid pause for advertising? Also the mouthpiece one...
