How did you get that 3.7% number? Unless you did the static water test its probably at least a couple %'s off/ Also, you should not be below 5%..it's unhealthy. Basically to lose weight you have to deduct 500 calories a day from your diet to lose a pound in a week. I would say that 1000 calories is really low for you. LIke someone said..that thousand calories is just you being alive for the day, if you were to spend the whole day in bed, you would burn that amount. Now with the workout you can add another 500 to 700 calories burned.
If you are eating only a thousand calories, I think you might be doing more damage than good. Your body needs fuel to repair and keep you going. It needs nutrients to run right..you might be malnourished..It's a delicate balance.. get some books or consult with a personal trainer to get a BMI and get your daily intake numbers and go from there.

Style: Defense Tactics
I've been consuming 1,000 - 1,200 calories a day since I started working out and I feel fine with that amount. When I started I was a bit more hungry than usual so I was eating about 1,500 - 2,000. I actually thought 1,000 was pretty high, because I thought the people that train real hard only consume real low like only 500 calories a day too get more muscle by burning more fat. Bye

If you're reallty at 3.7% body fat, at 1000 cals a day, man you are burning muscle and bone. Your body is eating itself. The averae adult male burns 2000 cals a day by doing nothing.
