    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    Jason Bourelly - Full Contact

Here's a great fight from over the weekend. I don't know much about him except that he was a point-fighter, but I'm starting to become a Jason Bourelly fan - the kid has some devastating kicks!

I think the wcl is pretty close to point sparring. This has nothing to do with the fact that the guy could kick my ass. It is just my opinion. He moves very well, but in the WCL you get points deducted for defending and playing an intelligent game. But all this has been discussed to death.

I think you're a dumbass! lol (On this issue, man.) It is full contact continuous fighting with a must system scoring. How is that anything like point karate?

you get points deducted for defending and playing an intelligent game.
The latter half of your statement is a matter of opinion. But the first half is plain wrong. You get points deducted for running away and playinf a defensive game, not defending. You can block, cover, slip, move from side to side, cut angles, and all that for defense. You just can't clinch (defensively) or keep backing straight up.

Also, all y'all have to stop comparing this to K1. This isn't K1 pussified. It is FCR made better and with LESS restrictive rules.

Here's that fight that artard posted. It's from last season with some better angles (and more axe kicks):

Matt you have the right to think that. But if you get points deducted for being defensive that is pretty lame. And BTW I don't watch K-1 and only follow some of the PPV UFCs. I tried watching WCL, I find it really annoying.

No, the WCL is a pussified version of K1.

    It's not even real kickboxing.

How many Axe kicks does that dude have to take before he tries to defend against it....really dumb.
