Take the time you were going to do work with weighted gloves and work on your punching form and relaxation instead. 1/4" of muscle on your forearms at the expense of possible wrist problems isn't going to help you as much as more time in on punching itself.

Just for christsake dont do speed bag work with them. Missing with weighted gloves == rotator cuff injury.
Same way that baseball pitchers throw their shoulders out. Just say no kids... Just say no.
