    Muay Thai gyms

Does anyone know of a good muay thai gym in inner-west or south sydney? I'm having trouble finding one which fits in with my schedule which is kind of unflexible being in the last year of school.

Hi Tim. this isn't an exhaustive list, but it's a start. Here are some more suggestions. The only one I know off the top of my head in that area (I don't have a great geographical knowledge of Sydney) is Sinosic Perosh. I think the gym itself is more MMA/BJJ oriented, but that could be good if you want to cross-train.

One thing to be aware of is that many Muay Thai gyms in Australia run graded systems - meaning they wear coloured singlets, and progress along colour grades like a karate club. There's nothing inherently wrong with this, but if it's not what you're looking for, remember to ask any club you visit if they do this. It's usually a different way of learning to more 'traditional' Thai training.
