The place in Edgware is really handy for road links, as on google maps it look very straight forward to get there from the M25.

I would be up for going, but from a personal point of view I have only just started training again so the more in the summer it is the better.

Speaking personally, I'd want it late in the year, as I'm already heading over to Belfast in summer. So I'd be aiming for some date between September-December for London (I try to make it to three UK throwdowns a year, so Spring, Summer and Autumn/Winter is how it normally works out).

December would be best for me as I am getting married at the end of October and I have promised to stop training 1 month before the wedding (for some reason the Mrs doesn't want me to have visible injuries on the wedding day) and I will be honeymooning till mid November.

Besides which I may actually have some skills other than being punched repeatedly in the face or submitted by everybody by then....although I doubt it!

I'm happy whenever. If it's in London, I'll make it.

And yet you have no throwdown fist?

That's for people who actually fight. I just roll: not keen on being punched in the face. :icon_wink

Turns out spectrum in guildford has a matted room thats pretty cheap to hire, so a definite possibility for the future, as it has good rail links. Easy to get to by car as well.

Cool - more options the better, so would be good if you could find out costs and availability. That means so far we've got Meerkat's place in South Kensington, 70 for 2-3hours on a weeknight, the 5 per person place in Edgware, and now a possible Guildford option.

I am to understand this definitely won't be a summer venture then? I am on the verge of 6 weeks freedom which would be convenient if the two were to coincide.

Also the throwdown fist is for mma sparring only? I did not know that.
