He saves those lifts only for competition for who? And for what it's worth, Westside Barbell has produced a ton of elite lifters, so it works. At the same time, the template is set up to include whatever lifts you need to work on. I'm following it, and include the three basic lifts among others.

Don't get me wrong i love Louie. I've had the privlege of lifting at west side as well as hearing Louie tlak on a couple of occasions. last time I heard Louie talk he was having his big time lifters work out of foam and board presses for thier bench, as well as alot of band work off of those. For squats he does mostly box work to take the momentum out of the lift and make the hamstrings work out of a dead stop. The trick to the westside box squat is to have box big enough to put your hamstrings on. I don't nock louie for what he has done, they produce the best power lifters in the world.

Are you oly lifting or power lifting? anything other than daeds, bench and squat.

Unless English is not your first language, please stop posting with such disregard of grammar and spelling, please.

    I'm not kidding.

I'm all for having a good discussion, but not like this. Thanks.

The street argument is retarded. BJJ is so much overkill for the street that its ridiculous. Unless you're the idiot that picks a fight with the high school wrestling team, barring knife or gun play, the opponent shouldn't make it past double leg + ground and pound - Osiris

I'm a foreigner and English is not my language, , just so you know.

The reason I ask this is because it's incredibly hard to try to understand what you are trying to communicate.

If you don't put an effort to communicate well, then why should we, your readers, put an effort to try to understand what you are saying?

That would have been awesome, and my hope as well. If you want, you can try to turn the thread around. I'd contribute if I could, but my olympic training is 0.
