I'll break with the consensus here - I think Liddell can beat Fedor.

Fedor's only big fight in the past five years was against Big Nog.

With Liddell's excellent wrestling skills, I doubt that Fedor will be able to take him down to the ground, which would be the only way that Fedor could finish the fight.

nah, it sits about right, chuck has always had great leg takedown defense. Not that he has bad takedown defense for upperbody throws or trips, BUT Fedor is strong as hell. He's beaten the piss out of everyone chuck has lost to. In the match up of styles, I don't think chuck has the power to KNOCK Fedor out. Which would be the only way he could win.

Chuck has the power to knock anyone out. He shouldnt, but by some god given gift he does.

I think fedor is quite capable of luring chuck to the ground, but chuck aint no slouch.

    Like who?

Liddell hasn't fought anyone that Fedor beat the piss out of.

Fedor doesn't stand a chance of taking down Liddell, IMO.

Hey Chuck, you got KTFO and lost your belt, then you lost to Keith Jardine, and if you fight Rampage again you will get KTFO again. So before you decide you've accomplished everything you want at LHW, maybe win 2 fights in a row?
What does KTFO. and Chuck was kiving the rock star life in his last 2 fights and was injured in before the first fight with rampage. Now he's healthy and focused and he will beat fedor and rampage and without a dout jardine the way he beat silva

Chuck has some work to do if he really wants to take on Fedor. You can't come off losses and say you wanna take on a champ. And to say Fedor can't take down Chuck is retarded. Do people really think Chuck is so good he can avoid the ground completely?

It may well be a long-haul type of chess match. Both guys won't want to make mistakes. Both can also turn up the heat, but at those times they're both at their most vulnerable. I may have been overly facetious when i first responded with "LOLOLOL!" but it sounded like Chuck is underestimating Fedor and you just can't do that. He ain't as dumb as he looks. Mind you, the talk is just as much part of the game sometimes as the walk and can be used to get a bit of upper hand. As opposed to over hand. Also, Fedor doesn't seem like the type to have been taking a break for those 5 years. Those old school russians know how to exercise.
