Jubilant flying double knees from Anderson Silva

    PRIDE 25 - Body Blow 3/16/2003
Anderson Silva, Thai boxing stylist, faces feared unorthodox grappler Carlos Newton. In the seventh minute Newton telegraphs his attack and Anderson Silva capitalizes!

Do you guys remember what technique Silva used to win?

Well after seeing those borderline gay pics that Silva is putting in his training book. And you used the word 'jubilant', Im guessing he plummed Carlos and jumped up for a head scissors, knocking him on the chin with his boner?

I remembered. I just wasn't sure if THAT was the fight where I thought "Yes! Newton is kicking his a-W.T.F!?"

I'd like to see them fight again.

Maaan! that's **** luck in many ways - but all credit to the guy, Anderson Silva's timing for the knees was spot on.
Don't get me wrong, it would be great to see a more err 'creative' fight...must be a bit of a pisser for those who brought expensive ringside seats and that (NOT 100% sure if they charge massive for ringside seats for big televised events - just going on what I've seen in England).
Then again - if I had a pound for every time I've seen a 'shock KTFO'... I could most likely afford to open my own gym. Let's be honest, there's been a few over the years in many ring based sports (I include wrestling and boxing also).
And yes, I agree a rematch would be a nice idea.
