Learn to spell jujutsu (3moose1 put all the actual spelling of the word. Jue-Jitzu is NOT one of them). Look on the internet for organizations. Hook up with any promoters that you can get ahold of. Maybe this fighter should go to a gym that has hook-ups with promoters and any organizations. Living in Ontario, Canada might be a problem...

A guy in my gym just fought recently, he fought only two fights.
One was amatuer.
One was Pro.
So....is he a pro-fighter or an amateur fighter?
I really don't understand.
Nice tough guy though.www.dragonmma.ca

He's a pro. Its like, you play one game of college ball then you get recruited to the NFL, are you still a college player, or are you a pro footbal player? lol. its obvious.

He won his first fight pretty much within the first minute.
The second fight(the pro one) he won at about three minutes.
Basically, he rushes in like sean sherk and goes for the take down, then the submission.
I wonder if it will keep working. He's got to set up his take downs better with strikes.....
But who am i to critique? I haven't even fought yet, he has.www.dragonmma.ca

James. Forgot his last name.(i doubt it'll be up on sherdog)
His opponent however, was roughly as experienced as he was.
Looks to me they are 'pro' by status(he got paid)
but the level of competition was about equal, most guys there(with the exception of the main event) were amateur fighters who were getting paid.
He's a nice guy, and he isn't stupid. He knew his opponent was a new as green as he was. I doubt he'll pick a guy with an insanely good record.www.dragonmma.ca

How does a fighter get started in a amatuer MMA?
