Style: Muay Thai--
Top Mount vs. Rear Mount - I'd say it depends on the fighter you're dealing with. You really don't want Kenny Florian on your Rear Mount, since he knows how to work an RNC so well. Joe had some good chances to buck out and probably lasted longer with Kenny in top position than he would have if he'd allowed Kenflo to take his back.
Although I wish Kenny could have finished with a bit more power, he showed really good top control which probably factored into the Ref's decision to stop things. I think Joe could have reversed or escaped from most other guys.
All the best to Joe though, he's only going to get better from here on out. And hopefully Kenny gets another title shot (but I suspect he's got to get through at least another contender). -

Incidentally, what the **** were Hammil and Beotsch doing striking? The whole time all I was just wishing someone would get a takedown so they could stop embarrassing themselves.
