    Hell yeah! Hell no!
Btw who is referee Tim Mills? He looks like Jim Norton.

HAHAHAHAHA at Tommy Speer. I love to see wrestlers who can't strike get absolutely owned.

Didn't look particularly stupid in the first round when he was bashing Nate's face in.
So a BJJ black belt jumps from side control to guard why? That's the whole point. If he stayed in that dominant pos he probably wins.

Edit: It was a nice triangle by nate, i just thought a BJJ black belt could defend better than that.

When, besides Mark Coleman that time, have you seen anyone, let alone a BJJ black belt jump from side control to guard?

AWESOME FIRST ROUND TO THE MAIN EVENT!!!!!

Technical question. When you're mounted in MMA, obviously shrimp/knee escape is difficult because it leaves your face open to pummeling. Would it be a better or worse idea to voluntarily turn around, let the guy rear mount you, so that it stops the blows, but possibly buys you more time?

Basically in MMA, which is worse, Top Mount or Rear Mount?

You know, I think it was a premature stop. I had the feeling he was waiting for him to gas. I thought he was covering well.

Wow Kenny Florian trying to upstage Hamill and Nate Diaz for most unintelligible postfight interview. Always awesome when the fighter starts by thanking god, and then it just goes downhill.

It depends. If you can't defend the strikes, and you can't escape that's really your only option. If the guy has a weak ground game, you'd probably rather give up your back and try to escape.

If you're mounted that high though, with your arms stuck up like that, you can't really go anywhere. He actually escaped a few times, but when a BJJ black belt has mount, you're in trouble.

    Edited for clarity.
