    Fight Quest: Kajukenbo

Don' know much about this style, but what I did read about it, it is supposed to be a real tough style. Being comprised of four styles, it should be well rounded. We will see????

I had heard about it for years 'n years. Was immensely disappointed when I finally saw it - looked just like slappy ke?po to me.

All depends on who you see. The art is comprised of 4 main branches, with many off-shoots with schools doing their own thing under the same banner. Some you couldn't differentiate from the Ke?po school down the street, and others you couldn't differentiate from the local MMA camp. The instructors who stepped up to do the show are well respected and bang hard, putting out competent kickboxing, MMA and Grappling competitors, so I have high hopes for a good portrayal on the episode.

Does anyone know the rules for the sparring? Anything goes, but medium contact? Is the main focus to get hit and be fine with it?

BUT! We saw where the elbow to the spine is valid takedown defense. Take that, BJJ nutriders.
