    Hell yeah! Hell no!
Since my commitment towards my training has increased a lot in the past, my willingness to buy gear hasn't. Well this is about to change or has already I guess. I am not going to abuse my TKD gear for anything anymore (besides TKD) and I am also done with relying on my school providing gear or some of my training partner borrowing me some.

I am going to buy some MMA training gloves and some shine/instep guards that I can use during grappling also.
I have been reading the ratings here on the site but still I am not sure, hence I ask you guys to give some input, on the gear I have an eye on and also add/suggest something different.

Oh and I have slim long legs I am 6"0 and walking at 152lbs (I am not a big fan of those bulky shin/instep guards that feel like they are about to fall off)

Get the cheaper shin instep protectors. They're about the same, we carry both. Buy the safety gloves first but don't pay more than $49. You can always find these on sale somewhere.

Well actually I posted the whole lot of my words in a visitor page, but couldn't put it all in one box due to many many words... so i put a paragraph in each post... and all together I guess it is saying I feel lost and afraid, and here i am with my brown belt waiting for me...

I remember when I first took up krotty back in the late 90's I was absolutely shocked that the only gear they used was a mouthpiece.(although they had a row of good punching bags, kick shields, focus mitts, thai pads, etc.) I always thought it was pretty stone-age but the funny things is, I got hit a LOT harder in places where gear was used because...gear was used. People need to realize just because you are wearing gear doesn't mean you can kick someone in the head as hard as you can.

Funny thing about these sports: they are resistant to using the newest technological innovations. I fucking love gear.
