yeah that show kinda sucked.i forget who won in the end, but most of what i saw was the bigger guys basically owning everyon else through virtue of strength.

one thing it did show is how far size and a DECENT DIET go towards training. in a lot of the challenges they were fighting mystic mumbai villages who had been practicing their martial art for hundreds of years etc... but they were malnourshed midgets and got owned because either the guy they were fighting was bigger and stronger or plain fitter.

Although the image of Stone Cold giving a Pentjack Silat Master a Stunner followed by a beer bath and two middle fingers is quite appealing as well.
    Epic win.

For all the lame weakness of History Channel's Human Weapon, it could have been a lot worse.

It could have ended up as BBC's Mind, Body, and Kickass Moves.

That would quite possibly be one of the greatest shows ever. I'd watch every episode. Seeing Frye train Hapkido would be worth it.

I like the formula for human weapon because of the lulz. Bill dodges any real competition and Jason let's Bill get "killed" in their gauntlet challenges. Not to mention, the secret warrior roots too deadly for the ring stuff never helps in the fight.

Except that Pankration episode. I don't know why Greeks don't just go back to the Boxing/Wrestling style.

You know Jason dies a little inside every time he says "This just shows how deadly this martial art is."

Yes. I would say he is just pandering to the Larpers because they are a huge percentage of the population that does martial arts and watches Human Weapon.

This is true, off the top of my head, in a ten mile radius I can count 3 Karate schools, 8 Taekwondo schools, one Ninjustsu school, one BJJ school, and two boxing/Kick boxing gyms.
