It isn't a feeder org, it's more like the farm teams work in baseball and hockey. Owned by the UFC and they can call guys up when they need them, but most guys only get called up once and then spend the rest of their career rotting there.

Do you even watch this sport? There are so few heavyweights worth watching out there, that to have a heavyweight division in the WEC would further dillute the UFC's division. Making for nothing but shitty fights in both orgs. As for the bantams, **** you if you don't think they put on great fights. Some of the best fights in that organization have come out of 135 lbs.

PS- And I think they should have more japanese fighters to stack their 145 and 135 divisions!
This was a natural move for Jens, not a punishment or step down. He's small even at 155. Now he had the opportunity to compete in a weightclass in his home country that he fits in.

Your memory must be hazy because Chael "Republicans don't lay on their backs with other men between their legs" Sonnen never KTFO Fihlo. He took him down, got armbarred and started screaming like a bitch, which is when the ref stopped the fight. Not when Sonnen started making up **** to stop the fight prematurely.

    Bebe v Yahya was epic

Sonnen was beating him like he owned him money, don't revise history. Filho was in another frame of mind after that initial slam. Yes he was arm barred and yes he yelped and the ref stopped the fight but to his credit he didn't complain and took the lose like a man.
Judo is only gentle for the guy on top.

You're right about two things: Sonnen was kicking his ass in the stand-up and, to my delight, didn't pull a Tito after the fight. Sonnen still lost via submission like all Fihlo's other fights, it just went to the ground differently than it usually does for Fihlo.

Oh, and Bebe vs Yahya was awsome, I just wish Yahya didn't gas out.

I disagree... I watched the fight multiple times. Fihlo was KO'd and snapped out of it after about 3-4 seconds. That fight was over and the ref screwed the pooch.

Yes, it was a nice armbar but that was about it. Fihlo looked extremely lackluster and got a gift win.

Total agreement about the Chase Bebe fight. That guys gives 110% evey single fight, I love watching him!

Yeah, I watched that fight again last night. Fihlo was out cold. While it was a great armbar, Sonnen didn't tap verbally or physically, and he was even saying (yelling/crying) no at the ref. My thoughts, the ref fubar'd not once, but twice in that match.

As for the little guys, Charlie Valencia... that guy is awesome.
