Let me give my advice, for what it's worth.
Surprise us! Be original, witty! Try a one-panel comic, i.e. a panel portraying a situation, and a caption revealing new information about the situation that makes it absurd. Here's an example...
Comic: A classrom, with a man in a labcoat and a stethoscope teaching the class. The man has a speech bubble that reads as follows: "If you make the incision a quarter of a centimeter below, you will lacerate the femoral artery causing severe damage to the leg..."
Caption: As I listened to the lecture, I quietly wondered who gave Phil Elmore the labcoat.
You've gotta be surprising. So far, these comics look more like propoganda posters than comics. A bunch of people agreeing with each other = not funny. Making fun of stupid people using comic devices like timing, satire and surprise = very funny. -

This, from a technical view point, is slightly better. The reason this didn't incite hysteria is for two reasons:
1) Predictability
2) No twist or punchline.
From the get go, the reader is expecting the wing chun guy to fail horribly. Panel 3, as I see it, is missing the twist. Panel 4 could've been the same, but without the twist, it flops.
What I would've done is keep panel 1 and 2 the same. Then in panel three, I would have them both standing there doing nothing. Panel four would be "Did it hurt?", then black guy would say something comical.
Webcomics are hard to make, and if you use a simplistic style of art, it means you have to be twice as funny. Making simple style art comics is hard as hell. -

Until you stop writing these, the site's not getting any more articles from me, Boyd, Aeso or Shuma.
