I don't know about AA, man. But I think Mir off a win v. Sylvia off a loss seems about right. Plus... and I may be off my rocker here... I think Sylvia is ripe to get leg locked. ...Again.
There is a history there, so that's probably what we'll get...personally I'd rather Sylvia fights Gonzaga next, I would like to see Arlovski taking on Mir
See? Cracky knows what I'm talkin' about!
Eh, I'm just an AA mark and have thought for a long time he is one of the most underrated guys out there. I was hoping the PRIDE guys coming into the HW division and shaking everything up would give him a chance to rise from the ashes, but alas, he Ortized/Penned/Coutured his UFC career and now his last fight in the Octagon will feature Jake O'Brian putting on a LnP fest that will make us long for Shamrock/Severn 2.
So Lesnar was given a warning according to Mazzagatti. Still, it's kind of weird that no one could hear it, usually it's pretty easy to hear things being shouted in the ring.
3 of the 5 lesnar punches looked to be more on the side of his head. I saw one real punch that landed square in the back of the head. Fighters do that all the time, especially with little rabbit punches, the guy on the bottom was in no danger of brain damage from those rabbit punches. They should have left them in the same position and gave Brock a warning, not stood them up.

thank you Dr./Referee
On the one hand we've got bitching about hitting the back of the head/cervical vertebrae (btw, that's one of T3H D3ADLY pressure points) and that Mazz made the wrong call and Brock should've been allowed to hit Mir that way.
On the other hand we've got whining that Heath got KTFO'd then tossed and that's excessive.
Back to my "fixed" comment: fans suck
Mir was not defending the way Mazzacrappi says he was. He didn't get underhooks and stuff his head in Brock's armpit, he just turned sideways, toward a fetal position. Shitty reffing.
Mir said himself he wasn't going to try and clinch on becuase he would wear himself out against Brock's strength. Instead he was trying to just avoid too much punishment, which he was.
