tito is controversial. IMO (and a lot of other people's) forrest got robbed in the decision. He's a much more well rounded fighter than Tito. As for Jardine, I say Forrest is better, but he lost so I won't argue that one until he rematches Jardine. Keith caught him slipping fair and square.

The street argument is retarded. BJJ is so much overkill for the street that its ridiculous. Unless you're the idiot that picks a fight with the high school wrestling team, barring knife or gun play, the opponent shouldn't make it past double leg + ground and pound - Osiris

LOL, I'm sorry I didn't read your post very thoroughly. I have no idea were he's ranked or if there are any fighters besides the ones you mentioned that are better than him.

I agree, but I think that it means he should get a rematch with these fighters, not first crack at the top light heavyweight in the world.

I think Lyoto Machida should only be 1 or 2 fights away from a title shot, that said, Forrest getting the title shot does raise my eyebrow. On one hand I can't deny that he doesn't deserve it, on the other I can say that Jardine deserves it more.

No, you can't. Forrest has two wins in a row and Jardine only has Chuck since his last loss.

Forrest lost to Jardine, then redeemed himself with a win over Hector Ramirez before dismantling Shogun.

Jardine KOed Forrest then proceeded to get beaten like a red-headed stepchild by Houston Alexander. He returned with a split decision win over Chuck.

and for all these reasons, the next title shot should go to...Thiago Silva!
