Notice his wiki page makes his look like a self made man. We'll fix this soon.

There's no choice but to confront you, to engage you, to erase you. I've gone to great lengths to expand my threshold of pain. I will use my mistakes against you. There's no other choice.

Yeah, it's just too bad all of Gravedigger's signatures are actually burned onto stone tablets by the flaming sword of Gabriel himself, then mailed to Phrost to be converted into forum code under the name "Gravedigger". -Boyd :love2:

I think Dana is at the helm of the UFC even if he is a minority shareholder. That's how businesses usually work. You own the company and hire someone else to run, because you're an investor, not a manager.

I'd write a long ass post about how fucking stupid you make yourself appear with your retarded points and ad hominem attacks on Dana White, but I'd be reiterating everyone else's posts.

Suffice to say your post makes you seem like a hostile, envious little man.
Curiosity killed the cat. But damn it had a blast.

The UFCis run fine. The fighters are happy for the most part. This thread isnt about that though.

Anyways to answer the OPs question, yes and yes.

Jens Pulver does fine in MMA and was a pro boxer. Brock Lesnar has just "broke" into MMA. He lost his UFC debut as a 1-0 fighter facing an ex-heavyweight champ after 1.5 years of MMA training. He's got potential but needs some time. I think the UFC should treat him and match him up based on ability for now and not fame. Hes still got a lot of time left in him and could be a force soon.

Theres plenty of guys who have some pro-boxing and got into MMA. None like Tyson or Mayweather,, but just because the top 1% of a sport don't cross over doesn'tmean others don't.

Anyways Brock is no longera pro-wrestler. Hes an MMA fighter. Just like Pulver is not a boxer. Hes an MMA fighter.

Sakuraba was a pro wrestler too. There's a number of Japanese guys who did pro wrestling and switched to MMA.

Ken Shamrock is a great example of breaking the barriers here and there, though not significantly.

Dana White, though he probably has more control than some are giving him credit for, is still a figurehead for other investors. I apologize for repeating, but I really just wanted to say this:

Boxing is a great base to MMA (fast hands, excellent conditioning, dedication, ability to take a hit, weaving and ducking, etc), but the best boxer, odds are, isn't going to be the best at MMA, though the potential to be the best is there.

Some people just aren't great at kicking or clinching. Some people suck at the ground.

Though I'd like to see best talent vs. best talent, there are 'effective' fighters that are not-so-fun to watch, boring events happen in every sport. White & co. have done a good job with providing excellent fights.

Well, he can always wrestle again. Unless he is in an iron-clad contract with Zuffa (he more than likely is) Antonio Inoki can always through a lot of money at him to do another IGF show.
