    Suggestions??

    Just geting back into martial arts...with that said Im looking forward for any suggestions on what to start taking. I'm looking for unarmed combat, that focuses on dealing the most about damage with minimal effort, something that teaches techniques that end fights the quickest possible.

    Welcome to Bullshido.

    What to take, around here thats ez. Most people with tell you to take one of the combative sports. Boxing, Muay Thai, Judo, Wrestling or BJJ. The most damage for minimal effort is an illusion. Try any of these and you will find that fighting is hard work and a lot of fun (in a sporting setting of course). Don't buy into any of the reality based self defense nonsense that is passed off at a lot of schools. Read a lot (also know as lurking) here, there is a lot to learn.

    Bardock, the 'ending the fight quick' techniques are most prevalent in the combat sports. They're tried and true, and generally competition fighters will want to be ending fights ASAP- meaning their techniques will reflect this. Get yourself into some boxing, Judo, BJJ, Muay Thai, Kyokushin, Shootboxing, or an MMA class if you can find it. Hell, most MMA matches I've seen barely last for more than 5 minutes. How's that for a quick finish!

    Definitely Aikido or tai chi... look for the d33d1y 3y3 gouges and groin strikes, then you'll know its all legit.
