    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    daito-ryu.com

    Anyone know these people?

    http://www.daito-ryu.com/en/one.htm

Is it genuine Aikijujutsu? They don't seem to be listed by koryu.com or by Kondo.

Also noticed they claim that Daito Ryu includes yari, bojutsu, shuriken. Is this true?

They are legit from a technical perspective. From a political (ryu inheritance-transmission) perpective their status is a bit complex.

As a start you can read this article from Aikido Journal

Hakkoryu Jujutsu is a style that branched from Daito that I had a shodan in. I can tell you it's basically Aikido with less emphasis on "flow" and more on, well, it looks like less flow-y Aikido.

Daito-ryu's pretty legitimate... but I'm told they are officially NOTHING but kata. IE, two people where both know the attack, defense, and ukemi ahead of time.

I think it's the same with Hakko-ryu, isn't it, WWC? Besides paying a couple thousand bucks apiece for the "secret techniques" of the art at the highest level in their honbu dojo.

Edit: Ahh, think I missed the OP's actual point, but I'll take my lumps and leave the above as I wrote it. Sorry.
