A bit wayward of the topic but still in the ball park.......

I was sitting on the couch last night watching the Simpsons with my son when my wife walks in from the kitchen with a UFC-81 pamphlet we got in the mail from the cable company. The pamphlet had a picture of Lesner on it doing his best "I'm really pissed off.....or, maybe I am constipated" face, when my wife points at the picture and says.....

"I wouldn't mind watching Horn or Nogira, but I have been pretty disappointed with Mir's recent showings.....and who the hell is this guy with the giant dildo tattooed on his friggen chest?"

Yundt seems pretty damn tough... the two or three fights of his I've seen, he's completely dominated. But Alaska's not really a big talent pool for MMA, as far as I know. (Too busy wrestling polar bears.)

Tim Sylvia Vs. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira - Tim by dec, though we all want Nog to win.
Frank Mir Vs. Brock Lesnar - While I WANT Mir to win, Brock should be able to hold him down for 15 min.
Jeremy Horn Vs. Nate Marquardt - While neither have been super impressive lately, I'm going with Nate for no good reason.
Rob Yundt Vs. Ricardo Almeida - Would have liked to see Belcher again, he had a good stylistic showing last time. Big Dog should take it due to his experience and slick BJJ. There is a small chance Yundt may use his good wrestling to hold down Almeida and expose his ring rust.
Gleison Tibau Vs. Tyson Griffin - Tyson by going crazy, I don't think Tibau can handle the pace Griffin can set and Griffin is looking to finish after a couple decisions.
Chris Lytle Vs. Kyle Bradley - Lytle is much more exciting now after the Serra fight. If you missed his fight against Thiago Alves you need to see it. BOMBS AWAY! Lytle by KO.
Marvin Eastman Vs. Terry Martin - Beastman by being really angry.

there's also the fact that nobody he's ever fought has had a winning record

Hell, after a quick look, only two of the fighters on his record had a record at all when he fought them.

Most of the guys in the AFC are the sorts who go "Yeah, I fight in the AFC because if I didn't, I'd just be fighting in bars without getting paid."

    My predictions

    Mir via armbar
Sylvia via decision, but I'll be rooting for Nog via armbar
Marquardt via decision, but I'll be rooting for Horn via armbar
Almeida via murder (with an armbar)

    (armbar)

That guy was actually training at my gym. He's a friend of the ILF's Shad Leirly and came down to WA to visit him. I came in one day and he was gone and they told me he got called up by the UFC and had to leave the next morning for Vegas. I don't think anyone at the gym really expects him to win.
