If you were talking about CroCop, Vanderlei or other guys, I'd agree. Nog, not so much.

Why? He looks as bad as any of them. Crocop did beat his first can in the UFC...even finished him.

In theory, Mir can win by standing KO/TKO. His standup isn't great, but it's going to be a lot better than Lesnar's. Besides, for all we know, Lesnar could have a glass jaw.

If you want to bet on that, I'd imagine you could get some fantastic odds.

Did you miss the rest of the Herring fight where he dominated completely and utterly, outside of the one kick? If anything, Nog's boxing has gotten better than ever before and he probably still has all the great submission skills that he's had before.

We'll see how well Timmy does without his supplements as well ;)

Has any of the former Pride fighters looked good on their first fight in UFC? Dan Henderson fought good against Rampage, but he had previous experience.
Curiosity killed the cat. But damn it had a blast.

How about Rampage himself? Not an outstanding showing but he still looked good against Eastman (was it?). Also Anderson Silva for sure, though he's shown himself to be the exception and not the rule. I'd argue that Wanderlei looked decent, though not outstanding his last fight, though he's had prior cage experience. Debatable for Nog, whose hands looked sharp, but overall game seemed a bit lacking.

Gono kicked ass, Anderson kicked ass, Chonan got beat by one of the best WWs right now, CC looked good in the Kongo fight until he got smacked in the nuts repeatedly, Nog dominated Herring outside of the one kick, Rampage beat the crap out of everyone so far, and Werdum fought a crappy first fight that was made up for in an awesome second go about.

PRIDE has actually done decently for itself if I may say as much.

It wasn't that Nog fought well. It's that Herring is just that bad.

He does fine without supplements. He's used to it.
