    Hell yeah! Hell no!

How has your training helped you

    Hey there people.

Well I last posted here about a year a go trying to find some help in finding a gym Sinces than I have found a gym and it was the best thing I ever did. Why you ask well other than the fact that i't has helped me lose weight and stay some what fit it also help me protect myself and my friends when some guy attacked us with a knife at a bar. Know i'm not saying i am ready to step in to the ring and fight for a living but I do feel that if I was put in the same situation I could do it again.
So no matter what you train in or what belt you have earned it feels great when people think twice about fucking with you at a bar club or anything because they know you will brake there face in. For every person that goes to the gym and trains until they throw up or until you feel you body is going to break down there is always five guys that think they can kick your ass because they have seen the ultimate fighter or because they buy all the pay per views on t.v.
So next time you wear your gyms shirt and some one looks at you just remember that the reason they looked is because they want to make sure they know where your at because they will be hidding behind you when the **** hits the fan

    killer
    Say what now?

I've been training in Muay Thai for a little over a year as well and I've never been delusional enough to believe that I can practically defend myself.

I know that my Teeps don't stand a chance against a switchblade and clinch work is beans when threatened with a gun.

Unless you pulled a Tony Jaa and cut him with elephant bones, I doubt that Muay Thai gave you anything other than a little confidence to defend yourself against a douche with a shank.

That's what's great about learning a MA! Being confident enough with your martial prowess to take on all of the 10 year olds in the school yard across the street.
