Is this actually true? I've heard it said before by, uh, I think a purple belt in BJJ, but only that one time.

On a side note, I'm hoping to start doing BJJ next month, and I'm pumped about it. GRACIE GIFT, HERE I COME.

I don't know if it's actually true. I mean, it could just be a lie blue/purple/brown belts tell themselves to make themselves feel better about not getting their black for another 3-4 years, but yea, I don't know. Maybe the resident high level BJJ'ers can enlighten us.

I am a blue now and definitely don't know everything. I have a long road ahead.

As for it being hard to get to blue, maybe, because a lot of people quit early on because they don't get used to the ground, or the training is too hard for them, or whatever.

I've heared it also depends under who and in what kinda school you get blue belt.
Rumour has it standards fr being a blue belt are already dropping dramatically.
I'm too new to say anything sensible about it, just what i heared.
I know some **** about grappling in general though but am too new to the bjj scene.

I'm getting tired, and I'm sure you are too, of the praises to the story. Henceforth, I shall shut the **** up unless I have a question orsomething useful to say. Just keep it up.
