Your lack of fidelity sickens me.
Trust in MBG. He is the way and the laugh.
In his jokes we are sheltered.
    The faithful await.

Dammit! you had potential kid! - You could of gone the distance!

    I have often dreamed
    Of a far off place
    Where a hero's welcome
    Would be waiting for me
    Where the crowds will cheer
    When they see my face
    And a voice keeps saying
This is where I'm meant to be

    I'll be there someday
    I can go the distance
    I will find my way
    If I can be strong
    I know ev'ry mile
    Will be worth my while
    When I go the distance
I'll be right where I belong

    Down an unknown road
    To embrace my fate
    Though the road may wander
It will lead me to you
    And a thousand years
    Would be worth the wait
    It may take a lifetime
But somehow I'll see it through

    And I won't look back
    I can go the distance
    And I'll stay on track
    No I won't accept defeat
    It's an uphill slope
    But I won't lose hope
    Till I go the distance
    And my journey is complete

But to look beyond the glory is the hardest part
For a hero's strength is measured by his heart

    Like a shooting star
    I can go the distance
    I will search the world
    I will face its harms
    I don't care how far
    I can go the distance
    TillI find my hero's welcome
    Waiting in your arms...

    I will search the world
    I will face its harms
    TillI find my hero's welcome
    Waiting in your arms...

I thought with enough training, contemplation, and sparring practice that any style could be effective. You just had to bust your balls, spar a lot, and figure it out.

Sadly, I did this for almost every style that exists (kung fu, karate, wing chun, ninjutsu, BJJ, kickboxing, regular boxing, drunken boxing, 5 animal style, xing yi, bagua, etc.). Whenever someone says "how do you know it wouldn't work in a fight?!" I can usually say "BECAUSE I TRIED ASSHOLE AND I GOT PUNCHED IN THE FACE".
    Priceless.

I really respect the fact that you went into different arts w/ an open mind and tried to use it effectively. At least then you can make an honest judgement on it. That and getting punched in the face................

Admittedly I didn't read all the filler between the actual story . . .

But the story is par excellente. Loving it. You are a terribly decent writer, Mr. Bad Guy. Keep up the good work. You should cut it all out and put it in one article.

    Lovin' it.
