not just any aussie boxer, John Wayne Parr. also "co-stars" masato and buakaw. excellent doco, probably the best doco ive seen about the life of pro fighters. real interesting to see the contrast between the way they all live. Buakaw has some classic lines too like "I have no mercy" made me think of tong po >_<

Yeah, it's a pretty kick ass documentary and it really is interesting to see the difference in what all their lives are like. Buakaw lives in some little shack (granted, with a pretty sweet tv and stereo system, but still a shack) in a training camp, while Masato lives the life of a big celebrity and JWP is kind of a struggling family man (not struggling financially I imagine, but struggling as a business owner/full time fighter/husband and father).
It's also kind of upsetting about how Angie Parr has to put her life and dreams on hold and take a back seat to her husband. Understandable I suppose, since he is a superstar and she makes chump change compared to him, but still upsetting.Ranked #9 internationally at 118lbs by WIKBA http://www.womenkickboxing.com/wikba...rch%202009.htm -

yeah for sure, and it sounds harsh but really there isnt another option if they want to continue living the way they do (which from the looks of his house aint too badly!)
makes you wonder what buakaw does with his winnings really. probably hs to pay his padholders fucking heaps, talk about a dangerous job >_<Nick says:

Buakaw isn't ugly, he's adorable (definitely the best looking guy in MAX with Masato a distant second). His sister just happens to be his clone.
