    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    time release proteins

Does nobody on here use them!?

All i seem to read is talk about whey.

I use a time release protein powder which has fast digestible proteins and long lasting ones that can take up to 10hrs.
This way after workout i get immediate and sustained nutrition for my muscles.

Also i think it is a good idea to eat fish right before goin to sleep, because it has slow digestible proteins that last all the way until you wake up.
If you shud take a whey shake instead u might be out of protein half way the night.

I would rather have all fast digesting protein directly after a workout then eat again not long after.

Are you talking about casein when you say "time release protein"?

Well it has like 800 different proteins from milk and then egg proteins.

That stuff sure has some nice hype on the page. I bet it will push you past the edge.

I take whey after a workout because it's fast, and then I eat more protein throughout the day to get more protein. I imagine time release protein is good if it's all the protein you get in a day, but it's not the case with me.

Whey before bed is always a stupid idea, but I'd rather go with cottage cheese or something else with a high casein protein content paired with some complex carbs to keep my body fed while I sleep.

I use Myoplex Deluxe It has both the fast acting whey and the longer lasting casein. I'm not sure I would say "excellent" taste as it describes, but it's not bad. Let's say I don't get tired of drinking it three times a day.

hmm never looked at it like that, so milk proteins can take up to 10hrs aswell?

i usually mix it with quark (sumkind of dutch cottage cheese) and a raw egg to add even more proteins to the shake.

and i also eat several times proteinish stuff a day, usually
to keep them muscels constantly fed
