    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    Streetfighters

I'm not sure where this goes, but here it is.

I go to school with a few thugs, and think they're all badass.
Well, they might be wannabe thugs, but I know they fear no one.

I get along with them fine, but it seems they have no respect for martial arts, but maybe because of my non-imposing figure.

    Ever meet one of these?

I would say they are complete fighters, because they learn from experience, and would do anything to win (with no technique).

To get a proper discussion of this phenomena I highly recommend moving this to YMAS forum.

    Respectfully,

If you did BJJ you should have asked them to roll with you.

Sure, I've met some of them.

Is there some other question buried in this thread somewhere?

    Yep.

i have a good friend who gets into fights EVERY fucking weekend.

He's kinda big (6'1 230LB) But he knows how to throw his weight around. And he always swings first.

i remember when we were 15-16... back then kids used to push you... you'd push them back.. and a fight would SLLOWWWLY escalate.

Not this kid... if you pushed him, he made it look like he was going to push you back, but would sucker punch you instead.

    It worked.

What's funny is that he thinks all MA is bullshit... except for MMA/Boxing. He's the type that would actually do really well if he trained, but he's too busy smoking and drinking lol

The only way you get his respect is by actually man-handling him.

Meet guys like that every now and again at the gym I train/teach at, we use the back room of a bodybuilding/weightlifting gym, they come in talk **** then when asked if they would like to try the class out maybe learn something and have a friendly spar or roll with the guys, they make some inane comments and leave.
