I used to have 5% bodyfat in my prime. I've never been able to lift very heavy weight.
I may start bulking up in the future. Won't I lost speed and flexibility though?

Isn't bodyweight just as good as weights and leaves you more flexible?

You need to progressively increase the weight you do and weight training is best for that, your muscles get stronger when they are forced to work harder.
