    Joe's record at 155 -

Jens, former 155 champion, who he smashed
Reinhardt, overrated but undefeated, who he smashed
    Cole Miller, who he finished
    Brandon Melendez, who he finished
Manny Gamburyan, who he lost a decision to
    Some guys.

    Florian's record at 155 -

One-armed Sherk, who he lost five rounds to
Dokonjonosuke Mishima, who has been past his prime for almost four years and who Florian still almost got subbed by
Alvin Robinson, who he beat up pretty good
Din Thomas, who he was going about even with before Din's knee exploded
    Some one-dimensional strikers

I'm failing to see how Florian's opposition is so much more impressive than Joe's. The only big names on it were injured, and he still lost to one of them.

You fail to mention that Florian was beating three shades of purple out of Din Thomas before Din's knee exploded on that shot.

To be honest, it makes for a much better fight. For Joe and for us. I did not know who joe was before he raped that guy in his last ufc fight. Now Im actively looking forward to watching him again.

i have preaching the gospel of Lauzon at the local bar for over a year now. His nuts are firmly ensconced in the mouths of eastern CT's alcoholics!

Florian is tough...but Joe is the Randy Couture of lightweights: it's just stupid to bet against him.
And lo, Kano looked down upon the field and saw the multitudes. Amongst them were the disciples of Uesheba who were greatly vexed at his sayings. And Kano spake: "Do not be concerned with the mote in thy neighbor's eye, when verily thou hast a massive stick in thine ass".

Yeah, I failed to mention it because it didn't fucking happen. Florian landed some shots and so did Din, Florian defended several takedowns. Florian was narrowly winning, but in no sense was he beating shades of anything out of Din.

i used to troll the SSfighting forum (like 7 years ago) and remembered hearing them all talk about how Joe Lauzon was incredible.

then years later i saw him fighting pulver and was like "oh ****!?"

    Gotta say, i'm impressed.
