    hm... never really came across that type of attitude. Personally I respect any judo/wrestling training. Now JJJ from watching the club at my school I am not that impressed with but I am sure that in more hardcore places they train well.

    Seriously, though, that mentality you encountered is nothing new...you can easily find kungfu guys who will tell you the same thing about kungfu, and so on and so forth.

    How bout tai chi fast wrestling? I heard it was some powerful and supernatural stuff that had no connection to bjj or any modern grapplin style.
