Considering Silvia's "striking prowess" was supposed to be his edge over Couture, I don't see how beating that big oaf validates Randy over Fedor. Choi's k1 record has to contribute for something, not being put out by LeBanner and Schilt, who hit very hard, and he would assrape Tim Silvia as far as standup technique and power go.

We all know Randy owns Silvia on the ground, and it's absurd to say Fedor wouldn't do the same. Randy's "boxing" was more than a match for that big oaf, and Fedor stood toe to toe with a potentially roided up prime time Crocop, and has spent considerable time with the folks at Vos gym. Fedor's total standup game looks better than Couture's, and his ground and pound, which is supposed to be a Couture specialty, looks more overwhelming.

Where exactly is Randy visibly superior?

Who is is this Silvia you speak of? Is he the latest find from Chute Box? Now, Tim SYlvia, that guy has striking skills, just ask Tra Telligman and Gan McGee. He ain't half bad at grappling either, just ask Jeff Monson or Ricco Rodriguez.

Apology accepted, now seriously, Sylvia is lightyears beyond Tumor Choi in MMA. Maybe not in K-1 (due mostly to size) maybe not in Ssirum or Sumo, but in MMA, Sylvia would walk all over Choi.

I had just come out of a drunken and heated argument with friends over Sylvia's striking skills, they claiming he could beat anybody with standup, after reading a statement of his in Real Fighter.

    Here's his quote:

"I don't think anyone has hands as good as mine. I think I could go into boxing right now and win a world title. I think my hands are that good."

I definitely concede he would win against Choi in MMA.

LMAO! Sylvia's a total douche, but it's good to see you aren't as delusional as he is.

He really said that!? Wow, what an ass, makes the fact that Randy out striked him. Is this quote still up AFTER his loss? If it is, then it's incredibly deleusional.
