Pride hardly counts, considering his latest performance. He looked small and pathetic vs Herring, and Herring looked sad as **** in every UFC fight he had.

Some of the beatings Nog has taken have been real enough, regardless of your opinion of Pride. They certainly qualify him as more than "fairly" tough.

Just no. Basically, if you were in Pride you were probably on roids. I've had someone tell me that Pride almost encouraged the use of performance enhancing drugs because it was good for business: exciting fights. With neither fighter afraid of the other you get things like Takayama vs. Frye. When you're not used to fighting without roids you get exactly what's been happening to most Pride fighters in the UFC. What happened to all their excitement?!

    Are you fucking kidding me?
Roids help with recovery, they don't make you immune to beatings. They certainly don't help with the beatings like Nog took (and sometimes won after enduring). I suggest that you watch some of the highlights of Nog's fight with Sapp,. While that's just comical, the beatings he worked through against Fedor are ridiculous.

I've seen them, and I'm not saying they weren't beatings, and I didn't say roids make you immune but they sure help. You're more likely to go out if you're fairly scared.

I had someone told me that the Apollo 11 moon landing was a hoax.

The street argument is retarded. BJJ is so much overkill for the street that its ridiculous. Unless you're the idiot that picks a fight with the high school wrestling team, barring knife or gun play, the opponent shouldn't make it past double leg + ground and pound - Osiris

Yeah, Rampage did much better in his fight against Liddell in Pride vs the roid free UFC! Oh...right...:angry7:
