I can't even use my front stance with a straight back leg because of all the atrophy..
I basicaly just went to my makiwara to generate as much power as I could and record it..Last edited by Bhauk87; 1/16/2008 6:57pm at .

Which is why practically everyone that tries to keep their hands up when they kick opens up their arms.
On your right kick throw that right hand back and your left hand across your face, this will be sufficient protection and will allow you to better balance yourself while turning your hip past the target. -

Sadly, I wasnt being funny, there was an actual debate in my mind as to whether or not someone was trolling my thread. Take it as you may. I'd take it as a reason to drop tang soo do.

I do the punch pull thing for my makiwara only.. I don't do that with 16 oz gloves on at muay thai.. I also don't pull my makiwara punches back immediately because I'm trying to let the force of my strike return to my body..
no... I'm not trying to lean forward to push.. I'm trying to keep a good posture and punch from that.. muscle atrophy in the calves really makes things weird for you, that's why my stances are awkward.. -

You should consider posting something more kickboxingish.
At any rate, I cant account for your injury because I don't know how it affects your ability to do things perfectly.
However I can point out that if you weren't lunging forward and making yourself off balance that you wouldn't have stumbled forward on the glancing strike -
