Jiu-Jitsu program at Imperatori Karate

Located in Atlanta, this program is brought to you by the Tiger Academy of Martial Arts but is held at Imperatori Family Karate, an adequate facility with two training rooms and recently upgraded mats. This is a brand-new program, so don't expect advanced instruction. Most students are relatively new, and are all white belts. This is best if you have never taken BJJ before. The instructor, Steve Brown, is a purple belt who has had an MMA program at another location for quite a few years. This is also mostly a self-defense oriented class. You can buy Gi's. Any other equipment needed, which is not much, should be taken care of. Typically the karate class is occupying the large training room. Good instruction style and energetic. As I said quite beginner-friendly.

I don't see Steve's rank on that page.

If nobody is ranked above blue belt, do you feel the school should get 10/10 marks?

the school is 125.00 a month for bjj. I just called them because I wanted to take Karate and bjj but they don't offer a package deal.

Seriously not worth it.... No offence to Steve but if he's a purple belt then 125 is far too much. Alliance and Kunckle-Up are just up the road and Unit 2 is just 10 or so minutes away. And all are cheaper than that with much better instruction.

Again this is nothing against Steve, but Jacare and Traven are renowned blackbelts with proven track records. I don't know who currently teaches at Sandy Springs Knuckle-Up but I'm sure he's also a blackbelt.

All of these classes are cheaper than Imperatori.
