Randy has started a charity organization to help injured troops. He actually spends a lot of time helping others.

Great to know that Silva and Couture are helping worthy causes.

Anderson Silva continues to be an example to all, in and out of the ring.

I think its a cunning ploy, now Henderson isnt allowed to beat him without becoming a charity hating knobber (not that he will beat him).

It's great that he's willing to give away his ENTIRE purse and all, but I think this says more about his overall states of financial well being, ya feel me? This cat's sittin' on crazy dough.

Still, it makes perfect sense that being well off affords you more oppurtunitys to give. Good on him, I say.

Was unaware that couture did that thing also. Good to know.

Plenty of folks without his kind of cash put a priority on charitable giving. If it's important to you, you find a way. I'm not saying he isn't well off, but saying 'he's rich, he can afford it' gives the impression that the rest of us are off the hook for helping out, and cheapens his gift.

Anyway, well done on Silva's part. Philanthropy is great thing but there are many better options for targets.
I think his decision was probably influenced by the fact that he used to work in a Mcdonald's. Always nice to see people giving back, though I have to agree with you that there would've been many better and more deserving receivers for his donation.

How much do you guys think Cro Cop's cup with Anderson's knee indentation in it would go for?
