Damn, this thread is still going? You guys were making plans...with..without me? Hey, I'll be up for a throwdown, just not today cuz I just woke up. Next week is perhaps maybe a good idea tho for me. I'm in the middle of tonnes of essays right now tho, so I'll have to work hard if I wanna make the time to go spar.

Edit: Wait, I just saw those videos. No more reddish pillow on his head. Derrickv: You're sly, you only listed karate as your style. You should have indicated that you grapple as well. I was having a hard time getting motivated to go and spar against someone whom I thought had no ground game.

Next week will be good. I just talked to a semi-pro-type boxer over the phone. Seems like he spars a lot. Will be good to see how us non-pros fare against a boxer. He says he can bring buddies. Also a girl emailed me and asked if she can come spar, I said yes everybody's welcome. Hope we don't scare her off hahahaha

Cool, can't wait to get a good owning in stand-up from a pure boxer. Did he seem like the type who wouldn't mind answering a few questions?

i'm surprised nobody has given me a harder time for my showing. it's obvious i'm no grappler. thinking about it later i realized i should have been going for mount and GnP, but instead i was just trying to not get choked. still failed.

Yeah esp. when I had only one hook on you one time, you could've shoulder thrown me to the ground. And you'd own me in GnP for sure. Rooster: Heh well I didn't exactly showcase any good grappling skills hahaha. I dunno what cracky did but it felt like some kind of pro-wrestling type calf buster cuz that's what hurt afterwards.

Rooster is more challenging to grapple with, although I'd imagine I'd shaken off some more rust by the time I grappled with Derrick.

Look at what being trapped in my apartment for a couple weeks writing essays has done to my sense of humour!

I should mention that Cracky subbed me at least 3 times and I didn't sub him at all. His instructor then proceeded to sub me with an LCL stressing side kneebar something or other.

Erm, so what of the Tiger Balms? If anyone here is going to that then perhaps we should all go.
