isol8d, several bars on granville show the fights, theres a sports bar at 41st and Knight that shows them. Tried to go to one on Broadway once but they wanted $5 cover and it was standing room only, we said F that. Chris Ketchens and I have watched the fights a few times at a seedy bar at metrotown mall in Burnaby, that's always fun. cheap beer, and the food is edible.

So now that I've done some checking in with the facility it appears that we have to use the one at 282 west 49th ave. because the one near burrard station is closed. I asked if the "Triangle Room" would be available and they said yes at 1:30. Plus it has a punching bag... hurra. Drop in fee is $10. For any lurkers from Victoria thinking of springing from the underbrush into our Throwdown here's the route I'm taking (Trip may be about $15-$20 one way if u'll be a foot passenger like myself cuzsuddenlyTangoisnowheretobeseen):

Bus to Ferry: #70 to Swartz Bay from Douglas @ 6:50AM Saturday arrives 7:40AM.
Ferry: 9:00AM to Tsawwassen arrives 10:35AM.

Vancouver Bus to Skytrain: 620 AIRPORT STN 11:00AM
Transfer: 11:17AM - Ladner Exchange Bay 1

Transfer: 11:22AM Ladner Exchange Bay 2
Bus: 601 Vancouver
Arrive: 11:53am - Granville St/W 49th Ave
Walk: East to 282 W 49th Ave. (YMCA)
