Personally, I had trouble getting this one fitted / molded properly and ended up ruining it to the point of not being able to use it.

I haven't used one, but they come highly recommended by everyone I know who has used them. I just bought one, but haven't got a chance to fit it yet.

got one - it works well and has stopped me from getting a chewed tongue and yet another chipped tooth when noobs catch you an unfortunate one with an elbow in the chin...
And yes, it stays put - without making you look like you've got a case of scurvy afterwards... true in little ole' England it costs up to 3 times more than your average 'basic' type of 'boil and bite' gum shield, but for the security, quality and added safety net of the guarantee - it's worth every 'extra' penny...

Unless you like going to the dentist and having your wallet emptied every time you chip a tooth...

BTW - anyone tried the double one yet?

    Shock Doctor DNA

I have the Shock Doctor Power Gel DNA mouth guard, and it's by far the best boil and bite on the market IMHO. Offers great protection with a plastic cover on the outside, it's very comfortable, doesn't gag me, and easy to breath when teeth are clinched. Not a bad price either, got mine from amazon for about 10 bucks with shipping. Only thing better would be a custom job I would think.

I have the Shock Doctor Power Gel DNA, and it's great. Aside from a custom mouth guard, I would say it's the best on the market imho. It's a boil and bite but it's very comfortable. It is easy to breath with teeth clinched, no gagging (for me) and offers extra protection with a hard cover outside the gel.

Good review and a great mouth guard. Every person and trainer I've asked has recommended these.

Haven't tried the double, but I hear it's not nearly as good as the single.

we use the pro shock guard in our school - the only problems:

-if not properly molded during to boil/mold process you lost the guard, and have to buy a new one
    -retails for about the $17
-kids like to chew them up like gum instead of keeping them still in the mouth, so not reccommended for new mouth gaurd wearing students

    Otherwise, great mouth gaurd!
