Although we have made fun of their grappling I figured I'd throw in a striking picture too. Note their MMA fighter is totally flat footed in this picture. So, not only are they not doing BJJ correctly they aren't doing Muay Thai right either.

Hahaha, just noticed this one from the website:
Earning her 2nd Degree Black Belt in American Karate in 1998 through a strenuous two hour testing, even though she was racked (sic) with severe thyroid problems was a true inspiration.%20Duran%2011.jpg)
Around here, we just call that "being fat."

Who needs their ACL anyways?...Although we have made fun of their grappling I figured I'd throw in a striking picture too. Note their MMA fighter is totally flat footed in this picture. So, not only are they not doing BJJ correctly they aren't doing Muay Thai right either.

Here is some more bad news for Sensei Moore. This is from a BJJ Brown belt here in Atlanta that used to live in Tifton.
Here are the key quotes followed by the whole conversation:
"hey man. no no no. lionheart is a complete joke. if anything they will mess you up, and start bad habbits. sub-par grappling is a complement to them."
"if a man is on his path to becoming a mma fighter, he better leave tifon in the dust."
"no one at that place could teach me anything. its a shame im out of tifton, i had a really successful mma program out there. "
post away my man. from a tried and true bjj brown belt under real ufc vets ( diego saraiva, steve headen, raphael assuncao (WEC). Junior assuncao, i can say that they are a joke at best. your trip to tifton would be a waste of gasoline. and as a 7 year specialist of mauy thai, their stand up is laughable as well. karate is one thing ( worthless) if a man is on his path to becoming a mma fighter, he better leave tifon in the dust.
if it was not for tifton, i would be a bjj black belt by now.
call me for further comments.

I'm a moderator at a martial arts forum where someone asked about them are you comfortable with me posting your comments?

I live in Atlanta and am a blue belt under Paul Creighton. Its a little too far for me to go to Tifton just to see bad grappling. :)

Do you know anything about Lionheart Martial Arts academy? They seem to teach some really sub-par grappling. Since you are a legit BJJ guy and you're from Tifton I was wondering if you had any insight?
