If you start getting 6-8 hours of sleep right now, you'll feel like a different person. Sleep is the primary method your body uses to repair and recharge yourself. Worst case scenario, you're literally shortening your life by depriving yourself of sleep, although I suspect you're too young for this to apply. Most likely, you're limiting your ability to learn, your body's ability to recuperate and your ability to resist any kind of cold or infection. I hope your diet is good. If it's not, you probably function at below half of your potential.
Go talk to a doctor. Trust me kid, I've been struggling with insomnia for over half my adult life. I'm about half as smart as I used to be and even less talented athletically than I was before. Seek professional help ASAP. -

The short answer is a resounding "yes". Are you actually serious in asking this question? Your body repairs itself during rest, and the mind obviously needs sleep. That being said...
Why the hell are you only sleeping 4 hours a night? If it's because you're ingesting too much caffeine, playing too much video games, or just generally being retarded then STOP IT.
If the above is not true, see a doc. -

Funny you should mention Melatonin...my past experiences with it have sucked but RECENT experiences have been stellar. The difference?

Nature's Bounty sells a 200mcg (not mg) dose.
