I like how all of those come across as people just trying to be polite.

I'm still waiting for the day that Dan Inosanto just says **** it and tells some asshole fishing for compliments just how much they suck.

I have seen the letter written by Paula Inosanto way back in 1993, all 6 pages of it. Here's the basic theme:
John Soet marries Dan Inosanto's sister (who has cancer)
Sister dies. Dan doesn't make it to funeral. Soet's feelings hurt.
Soet is editor of Inside karate 1993.
Soet publishes '93 article by paul Bax ("The Return of Original JKD")with the theme JKD concepts is dead, long live Original JKD. Bax quotes several people in the article including Jerry Poteer, Davis, Dill, Beasley, Fran Joseph etc.
Paula Inosanto is mad that john Soet ( a member of the Inosanto family by marriage) would publish the article.
Paula Inosanto write the Inside Karate publisher Curtis Wong (revenge!). She wants Soet fired.
She claims that Soet has no right to publish information about Inosanto and, by the way she claims that Dan was the real teacher at the Chinatown kwoon and not Bruce Lee(who only taught 10%). Therefore all students are really dan's students and he is mortally wounded that his students would disrespect him. Davis, Dill, Beasley, Joseph were not Inosanto students so she has to single them out because they were also in the article saying that the JKD that bruce Lee taught is not the JKD concept that dan Inosanto invented on his own.
The Inosanto letter was rejected by Curtis Wong as libel.
Inosantos were served with papers for libel.
Dan and Paula had to distribute the letter at their seminars when students complained "was JKDC really just like OJKD?"
The only way to save face, was for paula to write the letter. She was alot more mad that John Soet would publish and article that reflected badly on her husband. She could care less about the few sentences made by Joseph,Poteet,Beasley,Davis and Dill.
What has happened is that a few have cut out excerpts of the letter and tried to cover the fact that Curtis Wong rejected the libel,Inosanto was humiliated by Soet and wanted revenge.

There's still one other thing.
This guy Michael krivka is toneloc ( the guy that made the thread). He has taken the 6 page letter, cut out the truth about why Inosanto wrote it ( to get family member John Soet fired for publishing a negative article about her husband Dan) and made it look like the letter was written just to single out Beasley. On another forum he/or someone else singles out Davis, another site singles out gary Dill.
Why do they do it? Thats what trolls do. It took 5 years to uncover the 'rest of the story'.

Trained at Degerberg Academy and in Chicago a long time.I would have to say I am speechless.It surely is safe to say that there is always some kind of drama coming out of Degerberg Academy in some form!

Went to beat up a guy with his son. Found wrong guy. Beat him up instead. Son falls on sword. JB claims he was there to prevent son from beating guy up. Manage to impugn victim's testimony. Beasley goes free, son convicted of misdemeanor assault. Source: Roanoke Times, eyewitnesses.
